We the not signed at all except when we get a little clumsy with the reblogs would like you all to know that we are very important and established and words and buzzwords. Our mommies told us that we were very special, and every time you disagree there are rifts and call-outs and…

this is beautiful

i mean, the thing that makes me laugh my ass right into their faces is that *even when they’re anonymous* they are still SO INVESTED IN THEIR MARKETING THEY TELL US IN THE VERY FIRST SENTENCE THEY’RE ESTABLISHED PROFESSIONALS.

they’re not using “anonymous” in any subversive way—they’re not using it as a tool to incite change, they’re not using it as a tool to make an intervention against a more powerful force, they’re not using it as a way to start a conversation about call out culture, they are using it to *protect their professional status*. when they *could*, yano, just as easily get on their own blogs and make a commitment to working to withdraw themselves from call out culture. acknowledge the *f*eminist call out culture started with “established” bloggers and was rewarded by seal press and presidential campaigns and teaching positions and speaking circuits. acknowledge that call out culture is *f*eminist culture *because there’s a profit in it*. and because it’s *easier to do* than center women and be accountable to community.

Which is why , my snark aside I think ridicule works better than anger. This is a response to the one thing that ACTUALLY hurts them which is ridicule

It’s one thing if we are ANGRY at them we’re stereotypes etc.

But taking em down logically

or worse

MOCKING THEM?!?!

that means they can’t get monies!!

Oh NOZ!!!
