Not sure how I feel about dyadic people using CAM/FAB . The C is supposed to refer to the Coercive non-consensual genital mutilation that is performed by doctors in order to force infants into one of the binary sexes
That is certainly what it means when it’s used in intersex discussions. That is not what it means in trans* discussions, though. Though people passionately argue the term’s origins, it is not at all clear that trans* people actually took the term from intersex discussions versus independently created the term versus created the term prior to intersex use for which it was adopted from trans* people.
